Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe's Visit, April 2019

Personal Security Embassy Services Media

VIP-Mobile safeguarded the visit of the Japanese Prime Minister in Vienna.

Following the introduction of the Free Trade Agreement at the beginning of February, the key delegates of the EU and Japan came together for a summit in Austria to discuss, among other themes, the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Reform, the next G20-Summit and Brexit.

Even before the actual visit of Shinzō Abe, security measures were in full swing. Specially trained detection dogs of the Austrian Police searched our armoured Audis for explosives, in order to prohibit every possibility of an attack.

Shinzō Abe was met at the airport directly by VIP-Mobile's armoured limousines, complete with chauffeur and accompanying vehicles. The VIP-Mobile Team provided security on location throughout the entire visit of the Prime Minister, from 24.04-25.04.2019, in close cooperation with the Austrian Police. This included escorting the delegate from the airport to the hotel, as well as to his business meetings.
The whole assignment was accomplished with no problems whatsoever and the Prime Minister was able to comfortably reboard his aircraft on 25.04.
